The Picnic Area Explorer app is the companion app to the picnicarea.com website, a site with a mission to promote the tradition of picnicking and to help you plan your perfect picnic.
The app was designed to make it easy for picnic enthusiasts who are on the go to find a nearby picnic areas for their next picnic or to have the app at the ready to upload a new picnic area or add a review or photo to a picnic area already on the app.
Have you ever noticed a lone picnic table at an offbeat spot in your city or town, or stumbled on a beautiful picnic spot during your travels? Or maybe you attended a family or company picnic at a great picnic area that you want to tell your friends about.
Or are you an aspiring picnicker, perhaps planning a family or company picnic, taking an office lunch picnic break, dreaming about a romantic picnic for two, or just looking for a place to bring your takeout lunch during your next office break.
Well, then the Picnic Area app is for you. It’s sort of like Yelp for picnics. As more and more PicnicArea.com community members start sharing their favorite picnic area finds to the app with photos, comments and reviews, the picnic area app will become more and more useful to its community of users for planning the perfect picnic.
